Trail to First Class Program

This program separates first-year Scouts in Patrols and moves them throughout a series of classes designed to assist them in developing many of the basic skills required for Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class ranks. It is important for leaders to realize that while many of the requirements for these ranks will be met, not all requirements leading to First Class can be completed in the week at camp. If a scout does not need to complete the entire class schedule, please inform the area director and work out his schedule of desired classes so he is not assigned to a patrol. This will free him up at other times to take additional merit badges if possible.

Trail to First Class Schedule: Daily, Monday through Thursday.
Class times are shown in shaded areas.

A Scout should take either Session 1 or 2.
They are the same course, just offered at different times.
